SPECIALIZE YOUR DIVE CERTIFICATIONS

     PADI Diver Continuing Education Program

Our PADI Continuing Education (Con-ED) courses are formed as Divers register.

We have courses posted (at the bottom of page) that may work for your busy schedule but they are not the only ones forming. We start classes as Divers sign-up to allow for a more flexable schedule. If the posted course has an openng and fits your calendar, that's the one for you. If there isn't one, we will form a course around you, it's that simple. Your class can be as few as one student or a whole group.

Don't wait for a course to post, sign-up today and be the first in line.

        What to do next:
    • Stop by the dive center today or call 315.458.1955 to sign up for the Specialty Certification Course you want and have our Training Lead Team put together the schedule that works for you!

Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You have seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or higher, who are at least 10 years old, are eligible to take the Peak Performance Buoyancy course. Call or stop by the shop today to sign up! Once enrolled, your PADI Instructor will contact you with more information. Required Gear: Mask, snorkel, fins, booties, hood and gloves, wetsuit, BCD, SPG w/computer, regulator, tank(s), weights, and an audible and visual signaling device. In the old days, dive profiles were calculated from the surface down to a maximum depth, then back to the surface. Now, dive computers continually analyze your depth giving you more bottom time for going shallower and allowing you to maximize your dive time. If you would like to understand more about dive computers and learn how you can use tools like the eRDPML to plan multilevel dives, then the PADI Multilevel Diver Specialty course is for you. Divers must have the following equipment: a dive computer, its owner's manual or an eRPDml and a timing device. If you are a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Multilevel Diver course. Call or stop by the shop today to sign up! Once enrolled, your PADI Instructor will contact you with more information. Required Gear: Mask, snorkel, fins, booties, hood and gloves, wetsuit, BCD, SPG w/computer, regulator, tank(s), weights, audible and visual signaling device, slate and pencil, and an eRDPml.
